worked for 11 years with physically challenged
individuals in Seattle, USA, logging countless hours
on busses, trains, vans, and ferries while
accompanying people all over Western
Washington, as well as to Oregon, California and
Canada. In addition to his work with
physically-challenged individuals, Derek has written
on the subject of special needs travel for the
French Government Tourism Office, and was a
columnist for TASC INTERNATIONAL, a
resource/information website for travelers with
special needs. He splits his time between Paris and
New Jersey, USA.
